The actors and artists of the Creede Repertory
Theatre share their favorite stories and songs
in what promises to be a captivating hour of
imagination and fun!

CReaTures: A Puppetry Day Camp
(for ages 8-12)
Location TBA
$75 per participant (Scholarships are available)
July 7-11
from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 pm
Participants work as a team to write a puppet play,
design and build the puppets, create the scenery, and
rehearse with their peers. All the hard work pays off
when participants perform their creation in an “informance” for
family and friends.

MIME CO.
(for ages 12+)
Location and Times TBA
$125 per participant (includes a personal set of mime
make-up and a ticket to Bill Bower’s mime show It
Goes Without Saying. Scholarships are available.)
August 4-9
Discover
the music of silence. In this week-long intensive workshop,
participants explore one of the oldest performing arts
in history. The classes are kicked off by a performance
and workshop from Bill Bowers, one of the most influential
silent performers working in the world today. At the
end of one week, the new Mime Company formed by our
participants will present an “informance” for family
and friends. Don’t miss this.

Children's Theatre
Scruff Turbo and the Children of the Future
Presented by CRT's Creede
Initiative
Each summer, kids from Creede and neighboring communities
collaborate with CRT’s directors, designers,
actors, technicians, and stage managers to create every
aspect of an original production. At the end of four
weeks, participants perform in CRT’s Black Box
Theatre through July and August. You don’t want
to miss this true celebration of the creative spirit!

In its 25th year of bringing high quality
educational theatre to schools throughout
the Southwest, CRT’s 2008 touring children’s
production will reach upwards of 15,000
children this fall. With the success of Meet the
Beasts in 2007, we are excited to announce
our upcoming touring show, Grimm Pajamas:
Inventing Fairy Tales. Written by Jeff
Carey, with music by Jessica Jackson, and
featuring Meet
the Beast’s dynamic duo of Danny
Durkin and Jake Walker, children are sure
to applaud CRT’s 2008 Young Audience
Outreach Tour.
