Jonathan
Allsup
Project Coordinator
Production Stage Manager
Jonathan has worked at CRT
since he tour managed for the Young Audience
Outreach Tour in 2005. Since then he has
been the Production Stage Manager for the
summer and fall season calling over 200 performances
for CRT; including Sweeney
Todd, Urinetown: the musical, Everything
in the Garden, and Crazy for You. Jonathan
has also recently stage managed the midwest leg of
the Nebraska Theatre Caravan National Tour of A
Christmas Carol in 2006. Jonathan has worked as
a stage manager in Chicago, at Western Washington
University, Northwestern College in Orange City,
IA, and at The Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.
Jonathan now lives in Creede but travels often to visit
Chicago and Elizabeth.
Lynna Jackson
Development Director
Lynna found Creede and the theatre as an actress
in 1972. Since that summer, she has remained
a devotee of CRT. With 35 years of fundraising
experience, Lynna has done development work
for various non-profits, including Planned
Parenthood of Utah, Red Rocks Mental Health
Center, the Cities of Creede, South Fork
and Lake City, the Creede Volunteer Fire
District, Mineral County and the Creede School
District. Her most recent job was
as a Wilderness Ranger with the US Forest
Service and she also did two tours of duty
at the Geographic South Pole in Antarctica.
After 34 years, Lynna has returned to the
theatre which brought her to Creede.
Maurice LaMee
Executive/Artistic Director
This is Maurice’s eighth year as the Executive/Artistic
Director of the Creede Repertory Theatre and his eleventh
season directing at least one play for the company.
He has overseen the production of nearly 70 plays for
CRT and he has directed 17 productions since 1997.
As an actor or director he’s worked throughout
Colorado, including the Denver Center Theatre Company,
the Arvada Center, Littleton Town Hall Arts Center,
Modern Muse, Aspen Theatre in the Park, Country Dinner
Playhouse, Elitch Theatre, Thunder River Theatre, Colorado
Mountain College, Commonweal Theatre, and Colorado
Rocky Mountain School. Maurice is a graduate of Loretto
Heights College and the National Theatre Conservatory.
He lives in Creede year-round with his family, actress
Trary Maddalone and twin ten-year olds, Kieran and
Genevieve.
Ryan
Prince
Facilities Manager
Ryan is the new full-time Facilities
Manager and looks forward to his fifth season co-directing
the children’s show, designing sets, and building
props. He received a BFA in sculpture from Alfred
University in 2001. Since college, Ryan formed
a community arts group in Jamestown, NY, worked
in several arts programs for kids of all ages,
worked as an archeological field tech throughout
the Southeast, and helped start a sign company
in southwestern Illinois. Ryan and his soul mate
Jessica Jackson are now proud residents of Creede
and look forward to a long happy future at 9000
ft.
Renée Prince Stynchula
Education Director
2008 marks Renée’s
first year as Education Director of The Creede
Repertory Theatre. Renée
began working with CRT in 2002, and since that time,
she has appeared in various productions on the CRT
stage. Renée founded The Creede Initiative in
2003 with her brother Ryan Prince in an effort to include
local Creede children in all aspects of play production
at CRT. It was through this program that she found
her calling in Theatre Education. The CRT Children’s
Shows that The Creede Initiative has produced include:
An Afternoon of Mime, The Minpins: A Roald Dahl
Puppet Show, The Rainbow Goblins, Emilia’s Tree, and
Lullaby Bay. Renée holds a B.S.S.
degree in Theatre from Northwestern University where
she fell in love with the art of mime and physical
theatre. Renée is newly married to the love
of her life, John Stynchula.
Jim
Van Ry
Production Manager
This marks the 12th year of
Jim’s involvement
with CRT. Jim worked for seven years as Musical Director,
Lighting Designer and Shop Forman and for the last
5 years as a member of the Board of Trustees. Originally
from Lynden, Washington, Jim graduated from Dordt College
in Sioux Center, Iowa in 1975 and also studied Theatre
at Western Washington University. After teaching music
for 25 years, Jim served as Director of Technical Support
Services and the Theatre Arts Technical Director at
Dordt College for the last 8 years. During his work
at Dordt, Jim received 3 Meritorious Achievement Awards
from The Kennedy Center, American College Theater Festival
for his work in Lighting Design, Set Construction and
Scenic Design. Jim and his wife Jenny have decided
to make Creede their permanent home. Looking forward
to visits from their 4 grandsons.
Heike
Wilson
Bookkeeper
Heike Wilson is pleased to
be a part of CRT’s
year-round staff as Bookkeeper. Heike moved to Creede
a little over 4 years ago from Lake City and is originally
from Washington State. She comes to CRT after two
years in management at South Fork’s Rio Grande
Club and seven years as a loan officer at the First
National Bank of Lake City & Creede and several
years of Restaurant Management. In her spare time,
Heike enjoys skiing and spending quality time with
her three children Kayla, Brice and Alden.
