CRT's Internship Program

Designed to give undergraduate students the opportunity to hone their theatrical skills in a professional setting, CRT’s internship program is an integral part of the company.

CRT’s internship program offers its participants the following experiences:

  • The opportunity to work in a true repertory setting, producing at least six shows that run in rep in two theatres.
  • Mentorship from professional designers, stage managers, and technicians from across the country.
  • Top-tier professional theatre experience in one of the most beautiful areas of the country.


CRT’s Summer Internship Positions:

Summer Interns must be at least 18 years of age. Summer Interns must be pursuing a degree in the field for which they are applying or have equivalent work experience.

Design/Technical

Carpentry/Set Construction – Assist in construction and maintenance of scenery. Also assist with set change-overs and on run crew.

Lighting/Electrician - Assist lighting and sound designers in the completion of their duties. Also assist with set change-overs and on run crew.

Assistant Stage Manager– Assist stage managers in completion of their duties.  Also assist with set change-overs and on run crew.

Stitcher/Costuming - Assist in construction and maintenance of costumes.  Also assist with set change-overs and on run crew.

Box Office/Front of House

Assist patron services manager in completion of duties.

Compensation

Weekly Salary ($100.00 per week)

Free (double occupancy) housing (laundry included) for the duration of their contracts

For any one or all of these positions, it is possible that we would accept more than one intern. The needs and limitations of each season dictate the number and areas available.
