Watercolorist, Cathy Ledeker,
was selected as the 2004 CRT Season
Art Poster artist. A professional artist
for 24 years, Ledeker maintains studios
in Lawrence, Kansas, and in Creede
during the summer season. She teaches
workshops nationally and offers summer
painting workshops locally.
Two previous CRT posters feature Ledeker's
works: The Commodore Mine (1987)
and Day's End (1997). Collected
and exhibited nationally, Ledeker's
work ranges widely in subject matter
but is recognizable for its graceful
and delicate style. The poster
theme is a closeup study of a Creede-area
wildflower meadow. |
